Wellington Woods provides a safe and secure environment, as comfortable as home, but with other important amenities. Our onsite chef prepares three delicious meals a day, with snacks and hydration available in between. Opportunities to mingle and interact are engineered into daily life, with visits from family and friends easily arranged (subject to CDC and ADH guidelines.) A private dining room is available for families to use on birthdays and other special occasions. Phone, video conferencing and email are also available.
Wellington Woods also offers a unique amenity called music therapy, designed to enhance residents’ emotional well-being and cognitive health. Through guided sessions led by certified therapists, residents engage in activities such as singing, playing instruments, or simply listening to soothing melodies, tailored to their individual needs. This therapeutic experience fosters relaxation, improves memory, and creates a joyful sense of connection among participants.
Our facility houses a salon, for haircuts and styling, pedicures and manicures. Cable TV, WIFI access and phones are available at no additional charge, as is a call system to summon staff. Family members are responsible for transportation to appointments, with the option to hire trusted transportation companies if needed.
