Wellington Woods Memory Care

Over the past two years, my mother has been a resident of Wellington Woods. She was one of the first people to move into the new facility after it opened in 2023. We could not be more pleased with the loving care she has received since she left her lifelong family home to move into Wellington. Change is always hard on senior family members, but Matt Manning (the administrator) and his amazing staff were always there to help and encourage my mom and our family on her life journey.

The facility is beautiful inside and out. But the best part is the way the staff care for the residents. The administrator, Matt, treated us like family. And Marta went above and beyond to provide special activities for the residents. It was comforting to know that they cared for my loved one who needed to be in a memory care facility. I highly recommend Wellington Woods.

I would like to say congratulations on your new facility! I have had the pleasure of working with Matt Manning for many years in the past and would highly recommend if you have a loved one suffering from Alzheimers that you schedule a tour and visit the facility. Not only will your loved one have an individualized treatment plan but they will be loved and treated as part of his family. Matt not only makes sure that your loved one feels comfortable but also your family feels comfortable. He has always had an open door policy and willing to answer any questions you may have.

We had experienced excellent care under Matt’s administration a few years earlier so we promptly stopped and headed to Wellington Woods to get that process started and have been most pleased with this decision. Wellington Woods is a huge blessing to our family as Matt and his entire staff are excellent caregiver who go the extra mile to ensure your loved one is treated with dignity and attention. This past winter when weather threatened Matt and many of the day workers stayed over night to ensure all the residents were well cared for. Words seem almost inadequate to convey the peace of mind we have as this dear lady receives love and care from the staff at Wellington Woods.

Wellington is the place to put your loved one. It is beautiful on the inside. Matt and his staff could not care more, love more and interact more with their patients. When a staff member walks up to you, gives you a hug and tells you how much they love your loved one, that means so very much to me. The meals are great. It is so clean. So if you have a loved one needing memory care, this is the place to go.

Upon entering this building I was amazed how beautiful it is compared to other memory cares in Little Rock. I’ve never seen a memory care so bright and cheerful with state of the art decorations. The Wellington Woods was well thought out as most are dark inside. The sitting and dining areas are close to all rooms. I love the motorized recliners in each room, call lights and cameras for upper management to be able to see all. So nice to know there’s a place like this in Little Rock.
